Greg and Dawn Tatro have a long-range plan that will bring wonderful things to Johnson. They have an agreement to buy St. John’s Church. If it goes through, their plan is to work with Community Health Services of Lamoille Valley to open a health clinic and counseling service there in honor of their daughter, Jenna.

“We’re excited to help out the community,” says longtime community supporter Greg, who intends to meet with Sheriff Roger Marcoux and our state representatives to determine what other possibilities there may be for the church space.

The plan has a good deal of support from legislators and the town, though according to Town Administrator Brian Story, the town government will have no role to play except to help facilitate the process.
