Youth Yoga
Tuesdays
2:45-4:15pmYoga’s unique movements target the pathways of the physiological body: the lymphatic, endocrine, circulatory, and nervous systems. Yoga supports mental balance, a strong immune system and improves concentration. Yoga supports the physical, psychological and social emotional development of children. Starting a yoga practice at a young age creates a foundation of healthy habits and self confidence. Taught by Kara Rosa, a Certified Level I Iyengar Yoga teacher and advocate of holistic health practices.

Curious about meditation or Buddhism? People of all backgrounds and experiences are invited to join Karuna Community Meditation for group meditation, spiritual friendship, and collective inquiry into how to meet these times with compassion, wisdom, and equanimity.
Karuna is led by Molly Zapp, who began practicing meditation in 2005, mostly in the Buddhist vipassana/ Insight tradition. Molly completed a two-year Mindfulness Meditation Teacher training program run by Jack Kornfield and Tara Brach, under the mentorship of Devin Berry
Wheelchair-accessible space. Sessions are free; donations gratefully received and never obligatory.

Iyengar Yoga Level I

Yoga supports the maintenance of the body and mind throughout life. Yogas unique movements open the pathways of the circulatory, lymphatic, endocrine and nervous systems. Iyengar yoga digs into proper engagement and alignment in yoga poses, preventing and managing injuries. Safely move into poses through progression. Taught by Kara Rosa, a Certified Level I Iyengar Yoga teacher and advocate of holistic health practices.
Iyengar yoga is accessible to all bodies and abilities. Ages 15+
