Liza Ryan
Hi everyone! My name is Liza Ryan and I will be working alongside Mallory as the Co-Director of Clinical Services for the Jenna’s Promise Recovery Residences Program. The role we have is a contracted role, meaning we still work for the Institute of Trauma, Recovery and Resiliency (ITRR) but will be spending our time at Jenna's Promise and working with the women. I have worked as a Rostered Clinician with ITRR since 2020 and currently have an individual client caseload, work as the lead DBT clinician in our IOP program, and conduct community trainings with other staff members. I graduated with my Masters in Social Work from SUNY University at Buffalo in August 2020 and graduated with a Bachelors in Social Work and Bachelors in Criminal Justice from Champlain College in 2020. I have served in previous roles as a SW Intern with Burlington Police Department working with high-risk individuals and as a Recovery Coach embedded in the Emergency Housing Programs during COVID.I also currently hold two part time positions as a Certified Recovery Coach in the Emergency Departments at Copley Hospital though NCVRC and the University of Vermont Medical Center through the Turning Point Center of Chittenden County. I am a person in long term recovery and have been sober since December of 2013.
